Agree with this 100%. The Violet baby crap has done nothing for this show and the crossover so soon says it all. ABC know it too as there are only a couple of promos and all feature Addison’s heavily.

Thank goodness they have Kate as the lead and Addison is a beloved character, as the Violet crap has failed spectacularly.

For next season they need to get Addison dealing with her inner demons, definitely bring in her parents to shed some more light on her issues. They either need to pair her up with Sam, that with Dell, are the only good guys in the show, or bring in a good guy for her. Someone that she is afraid of bringing in to her life because she is afraid of being destructive and hurting that person. Naomi, and Sam have moved on, but they haven’t moved on to new real relationships. They need to address that. Both seeing the other with someone they know is finally going to be their replacement.

The pentagle people need to disappear in the back ground before their dullness ends up killing Private Practice. No wonder they are having a cross over so soon, they know that they need something to bring viewers back once they warp most of the leftovers of that boring arc.
